Can Smart Telecom fulfill it’s promise ?

Sinar Mas LogoIt’s been a long waiting. They’ve promised to commercially launch in April, then August. Regulators had given end of July as deadline, but Smart said they need more time until September to roll out network. Can the CDMA operator keep their promise to launch before the end of this year ?

Submarine cables from Naval TechnologySubmarine cable projects connecting Indonesia with international backbones are expected to be completed around last quarter this year. Meanwhile, nine companies are planning to build it in near time. These will surely cut the already declining Internet bandwidth cost deeper.
