Our tax tariff for luxury goods has not competitive again

Meeting beetwen Industry Minister of Indonesia, Fahmi Idris, with representative Company from United State of America (USA) has discuss about review and making some consideration to decreasing or erase for entirely the tax tariff for some industry which related to luxury goods.
The company from USA said that in this global market, our fiscal regulation has still not competitive again. They complain that our tax tariff for theirs luxury goods are very high and of course it is very difficult for them to compete in the global market currently.
If our government are still not change the fiscal regulation as per theirs inquiry, maybe they will be gone, bringing theirs money and go for moving theirs investment to the other countries which more competitive than Indonesia.
The company from USA which representative the meeting with Industry Minister, Fahmi Idris are come from some industry. There are 16 company and consist of: Ford Motor Company, General Electric Company, Caterpillar, USABC, Freeport Mc Moran Copper & Gold Inc., APCO Worldwide, Chevron, The Coca Cola Company, Conoco Philips, The Hills Companies, Island Power, JHPIEGO, Marathon Oil Company, McDermott International, Oracle Corporation, and UPS (www.danareksa.com)
