Bukopin credit target’s Rp. 24 trilion in 2008

One of our national bank who leading to the credit sector for micro, small and middle enterprise, PT Bank Bukopin Tbk (Bukopin) was targeted to contributing their credit facility to the amount of Rp. 24 trilion or will increase 20 percent growth’s in 2008.
Beside micro, small and middle enterprise, Bukopin also has contribute their credit facility to the other sector, like infrastucture. As we know that currently the Government of Indonesia still continued to develop the infrastructure sector and it will be needed the financing from financial institution, include bank.
For micro, small and middle enterprise, currently Bukopin more focus at, Solo, Centre Java and also in Nusa Tenggara Barat area. Refer to infrastructure sector, Bukopin has contributing almost Rp.1 trilion and also agree to financing the projets of free way access at Mojokerto-Surabaya, Cikampek-Cirebon, Cengkareng-Pluit, Bekasi-Cakung-Kampung Melayu, and the other infrastructure projects.
Per September 2007 (third quartal), Bukopin has reaching an Earning Before Tax (EBT) to the amount Rp. 411,6 miliard. This condition also showing that the company’s EBT has increase 19,27 percent from the last year’s EBT which only reaching Rp. 345,1 miliard.
