Three foreign banks interest to financing PLN’s projects

Foreign Banks, consist of Barclays, ABN Amro and Hongkong Shanghai Bank Corporation (HSBC) has interest to financing PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) to develop Electic Station by Steam Power in Suralaya and Paiton till 10.000MW with “crash program financing”. 

Until the end of this year, PLN still have been negociate with China Banks to realise this plan, if they offer interest loan more lower than the foreign banks above, so PLN will approve to develop the station to financed by China Bank. 

Success to selling PLN’s international bond while without government guarantee become to the foreign banks above (Barclays, ABN Amro and HSBC) interest to financing this projects. 

Currently, PLN just finish to get financing the Electric Station by Steam Power in Indramayu and Rembang who financed by local banks, there are Bank Central Asia (BCA), Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) and Bank Mandiri (www.kontan-harian.com).
