Lion buying 56 units aircraft from Boeing

Lion Air has agree to buying 56 units of aircraft type 737 900ER from Boeing Company at Singapore. Total contract has been estimated by Lion are around US$ 4,4 bilion or equivalent with Rp. 40 trillion. 

Currently, Lion have 178 aircraft for running their business at domestic and international flight. With this agreement, of course total Lion’s aircrafts will become to 234 units. 

The agreement has signed by President Director of Lion Air, Rusdi Kirana and Vice-Director Marketing of Boeing, Denesh Keskar at Singapore. Also attended by Jusman Safii (Minister of Communication), Budi Suyitno (Directorat General of Air Transportation) , and Usman Sapta (Chairman of Lion Air). 

For the next planning, Lion also will be doing their business expansion to Malaysia, Thailand and Australia.
