Crisis at PT Adam Skyconnection Airline (Adam Air) has influence our airlines condition and also will losses the passenger and employees of Adam Air.
Transportation Ministry’s director general for air transportation, Budhi Mulyawan Suyitno said that Adam Air’s operating certificate has revoke and it’s mean that automatically no longer allowed to operated theirs planes.
Regarding this decision, presiden director of Adam Air, Adam Aditya Suherman said that the airline was working to address its financial problems and also confirmed that all operations had been shut down as of Tuesday morning.
As per information by legal adviser of Bhakti Investama, Hotman Paris Hutapea, Adam Air’s management had misused internal funds totaling Rp 2.1 trillion.
Hotman also said potential losses suffered by the government related to loans from state-owned Bank Rakyat Indonesia reached Rp 50 billion.
Currently, PT Bhakti Investama has own 19% share of Adam Air through its unit PT Global Transport Services (GTS), the Bright Star Perkasa business consortium own 31% stake, and 50% remaining has owned by the airline’s founder Suherman and Sandra Ang.
