Indonesia needs investor to financing agriculture sector

About: I was born on July, 16th of 1979, after graduate from Senior High School on 1996, I was continued my study at University of Persada Indonesia YAI (Jakarta) on 2002, majoring in Bachelor of Accounting and then continue my study in the same institution, success to get Master of Management especially Finance Management on 2005. After finish my first Master degree in Management, I’ve got the second Master of Law at University of Indonesia (Jakarta), especially in Economics Law on 2007 by Office’s Scholarship.
I have been working at PT Sanwell Austindo-Jakarta (www.austindocorporation.com), my last position as a Finance Manager, and then start on May 2007 I have been moving as a Marketing Manager, but until now I am still responsible as an Internal Control Manager at PT Austindo Perdana- Bali (Austindo Groups).
In my spare time, usually I am always reading and writing something. Until now, I have been contributed my opinion by some media, like’s science journal, articles, blogs and also in my personal website too (www.yulyanto.com).

Indonesia as an agriculture country still have a problem to invite the investor for join in this area. There are no one investor who interest to support the research for agriculture sector.
Government of Indonesia who representative by Agriculture Minister, Anton Apriyantono, hope that there are available for Multi National Company (MNC) who interest to join and financing the agriculture researchs.
It is very impossible to increase our production capacity in agriculture area if we only have around 25 million of farmers from 20 million hectares of agriculture area and also with no supported by modern technology.
The government optimistic that if there are any investor who interest to joint and support the reseach in agriculture area, our agriculture sector will be grow-up and have ability to compete with the other country like Japan, Brazil, Taiwan and Korea (www.antara.co.id).

Yang diperlukan investor di bidang risetnya apa invest di agriculture sektornya sendiri? Pemerintah agaknya masih confused.
Rasanya, yang lebih penting sekarang invest terus di sektor agrikultur langsung. Seperti misalnya yang dilakukan Soros dengan menanam padi ribuan HA di Argentina.
Menteri Pertanian perlu juga promosi dan melakukan segmentasi, daerah mana dan produk apa yang diunggulkan (dan diberi insentif) untuk investasi.
Kalau boleh usul, Pak Menteri menetapkan sektor unggulan mariculture (agriculture di air laut, keunggulan kita sebagai negara kepulauan terluas di bumi) dalam bidang Algae. Daerah mana yang cocok dan diberi insentif.
