25% growth for Consumer Credit of BNI

In 2008, PT Bank Negara Indonesia has been targeting to increase 25% growth of Consumer Credit or equivalent with Rp. 13 trllion.  

The target not only for domestic market, but also for international market, specially for Indonesia employee who working at overseas. 

For last year (2007), BNI has been success to distributing consumer credit to the amount of Rp. 11 trillion and most of 45% credit consist of housing ownership. 

General Manager Consumer Business of BNI, Dyah Sulianto said that the market area for overseas focus on Hongkong which 120 thousands of Indonesia employees working in there. Currently, 5 thousands of our employees from Indonesia has open the saving account for foreign currency at BNI-Hongkong. 

This condition also will be easier the company to realize the target to increasing 25% growth of consumer credit for entirely.
