Swap Transactions will Support our Trade Financing

To reduce the volatility of our currency (IDR), Sri Mulyani Indrawati (Finance Minister), agree to swap the currencies transaction between Indonesia and Japan amounting to US$ 15 billion (1.5 trillion yen). The swap is on top of the similar bilateral agreement worth US$ 12 billion and the Chiang Mai Initiative Multilateralization (CMIM) worth US$11.9 billion.
