Laju inflasi bulan maret lalu yang mencapai 0.95% (www.bps.go.id) berdampak buruk pada nilai tukar rupiah terhadap dollar AS. Nilai tukar rupiah pada siang ini berada pada kisaran Rp. 9.220/ 9.225 per dollar AS atau terdepresiasi sebesar 45 poin dari perdagangan satu hari sebelumnya yang ditutup pada level Rp. 9.175/9.179 per dollar AS.

Rupiah semakin menguat. Kursi beli dolar AS BI dilakukan pada angka Rp8.279 pada pukul 13:37 WIB tadi, begitu laporan Bisnis.
